2018 News & Announcements:
On August 10, I will be having a pop up show at the Des Moines Social Club. The exhibition "we are done with being the nice girls" includes a screening of my video for the nice girls in shows by bad men. I will also be debuting an interactive installation.
The opening for I hope you like it!, a two person show with Mr. Jonathan P. Berger and I opens at Yellow Door Gallery in Des Moines, IA on Saturday, July 21.
In May 2018, I was featured as a “Class Act” for Washington University in St. Louis’s commencement. Liam Otten wrote a profile on my thesis piece and trajectory as an artist.
Also in May 2018 I was awarded the John T. Milliken Foreign Travel Award. I will be in residence at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris this fall. I plan to create video projects responding to French cinema, the culture of romance and the #metoo movement, and the idea of a female flaneur.
In April 2018, my risograph artist book “hello I am nice!” (produced by Endless Editions through their copy shop residency. The trip was supported by a travel grant from Washington University in St. Louis’s Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts) was featured as part of Printed Matter’s Women’s History Month Table.
